[linux] ISO USB's booten niet. Bios probleem?

Dank voor de inbreng van enkelen van u tot nu toe.

Ja zeker. Elke keer doe ik ISO stick in een usb poort voordat ik de PC aandoe of herstart.

Zo'n optie zou je inderdaad verwachten wanneer je de BIOS binnen gaat terwijl de USB al
is aangesloten. Desalniettemin verschijnt deze niet.

Goede vraag. Ik zet de terminal even aan :-).
Dit krijg ik te zien bij de ISO op de HOME directory:

De USB sleutel die ik wil benutten als ISO USB, zet ik eers om in een gewone FAT32 en
daarna in een ISO USB via mkusb. Aan het eind van de rit krijg ik de instructie de USB
sleutel eruit te halen en er weer opnieuw in te doen. Dat doe ik. Het hele terminalverhaal
dat hiermee samenhangt, stuur ik als bijlage mee.
Vervolgens ga ik naar de usb-stick en probeer ik daar de "file" proef uit te voeren. Dat
levert een warrig resultaat op:
