[linux] mousepad: omhoog/omlaag gaat moeizaam op ;n hp pavillion zv5231ea

Hi,

Er is iets vreemds gaande op mijn laptop: als ik deze hp pavillion onder
windows xp gebruik, dan schuift de mousepad als een zonnetje. De cursor
gaat netjes alle kanten op, precies zoals ik wil. Zit ik echter onder
Linux (2.6.11), dan gaat links/rechts wel maar omhoog/omlaag heel
moeizaam. Ik heb gecontroleerd dat de resolutie van het psaux-device
juist is geconfigureerd bij de kernel-configuratie (1280x768).
Iemand enig idee?
