Ik ben wel zeer benieuwd waar deze software vandaan stamt. Want alle
referenties naar arpd komen uit op een dode directory
(http://www.citi.umich.edu/u/provos/arpd/) en nieuwere verwijzingen komen
weer terug op honeyd.

Als ik ga peuteren in de Debian site kom ik daar een andere arpd package
tegen. Maar de opgegeven site (http://www.loran.com/~layes/arpd/) geeft
geen thuis.

Verder zoekende kom ik wel een PLD package
(http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=arpd) tegen maar die
wijst ook weer naar de arpd die ik in honeyd zie staan en waar deze
beschrijving weer nergens terug te vinden is.

Het lijkt dus erg veel op het verhaal van de speld en de hooiberg.

NB: Het zou handig zijn als er bij al die online package info van Debian
een link wordt gegeven naar de source. En dan niet de source package maar
de source waar een package vandaan komt. Dat zou een hoop zoek werk
schelen.
