[linux] hp printer: wel aanwezig maar niet door hplip gezien

Ik heb een HP laserjet P1102, maar krijg deze, ook met de HP hplip
software, niet werkend. Hieronder een overzicht van een mislukte
configuratiepoging.

Na een uitvoer van de nieuwste hplip-installatie:

PRINTER SETUP

Please make sure your printer is connected and powered on at this time.
\error: No output seen in over 300 sec... (Is the CD-ROM/DVD source 
repository enabled? It shouldn't be!)

Toch was de printer aangesloten (lichtje brandde, en usb-kabel was
ingeplugd).
Daarna hp-setup "met de hand":

Hier staat op de tweede regel:

terwijl op de onderste regel de zelfde bus de printer laat zien, maar dan
als device 006:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 03f0:002a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet P1102

Hoe krijg ik hier hplip aan het verstand gepeuterd dat de printer
aanwezig en wachtend is?
