[linux] xs4all smtp autorisatie probleem

centos 6.4
postfix 2.6.6 2.2.el6_1 met dovecot sasl
dovecot 2.0.9 5.el6

als klant van xs4all kan ik smtp.xs4all.nl zonder login gebruiken via adsl.
via cable is wel een inlog nodig, en dat lukt me niet:
(als adsl niet werkt gebruik ik cable als back-up)

ik heb veel info gevonden en geprobeerd maar niets helpt.
